Recover of permanently deleted site

    Hi. I have accidentally deleted my previous site and would like to restore the site again together with it’s statistics. May I check if there is any way WordPress can assist with the above request? Thank you.

    Hi there!

    Is this the site you are referring to http://onlyher2017wordpress.wordpress.com/ ?

    Please note that, deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address

    You can read about recycling of blogs here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

    Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts.

    Thanks for the clarification. I exported the posts from the site I previously deleted permanently. Would like to restore them onto a new blog so the posts can be as per the dates they were previously posted on the old site. How do i go about doing it?

    To import the content of another WordPress blog into your current site, please follow the steps given in the below link:

    Adding on the top of simranjeetkaur10’s replies.

    If you have the .xml file that you exported from your previous WordPress.com site which is deleted, note that media files will not be imported. For media files to be imported, the previous WordPress.com site has to be active.

    The .xml file only contains references to the media files and does not contain the actual media files.

    If you have deleted the first site, I am afraid media files cannot be imported to the new WordPress.com site. Only textual content can be imported from the .xml file you have.

    Click on the Import button on this page, and upload the .xml file that you have on your computer.
