  I’m trying to recover an old blog I started years ago that’s up at photoweights.wordpress.com. I opened this under a different user name. When I tried to use the forgotten password option, a message said an email would be sent to me. I haven’t received one. Does anyone know if it takes a while for these emails to be sent? Any help would be appreciated. I’d really like to keep the url the same and switch over to a paid account. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any customer service available to help. Thanks!

  Hi –

  It could take a while for the email to be sent. I also suggest a direct search in the email client for a notification from us “WordPress.com”. Look in spam, promotion or any other folders that are automatically categorized too.

  We’ve successfully delivered 4 emails in the past 8 hours to the address on that account.
