Recover old site with no proof of ownership

  Hi all,

  I started a WordPress site in 2012, which I totally forgot about until today. I tried to recover my password but I have deleted the email account that I used to set up the site, and now I have no proof of ownership (the URL the email for activating the account).

  Does anyone know how I can recover my old WordPress account so that I can delete a site I created 6 years ago?
