Recover recently expired domain?
-
Hi there,
I’m trying to recover pangawarehouse.com, which apparently expired recently. According to my billing history, the annual registration fee was paid on March 28, 2023, so I’m not sure why it has expired inside of a year. Either way, can you help with steps to recover it? Thank you!

According to a Whois that domain expired in January (as it was originally purchased in January). It has reached the Redemption period so extra charges will be levied to recover it. This thread has been tagged to ask a member of staff to assist you. There may be a delay as it is the weekend.

Hi there. I followed the link and made payment, but my account shows that I paid for an annual subscription to WordPress.com Creator. (See screenshot.) Can that still be applied to the redemption fee and domain subscription?

Hi,
Thanks for letting us know! I’ve already restored your domain pangawarehouse.com, and you can use it again.
Regarding your Creator plan. I’m afraid that the free domain offer can not be used to renew or redeem a domain. You can read more about this here:This page lists the domain extensions (also known as top-level domains or TLDs) available on WordPress.com and their prices. Search for your domain here! I will contact the payments team to see what might happen and to work on correctly activating your Creator plan.

Hi,
Upon further checking, we have seen that this was not a Creator plan purchase. It is the domain redemption of pangawarehouse.com that is showing incorrectly as a Creator plan on your billing history. The date and amount match the manual payment link to redeem the domain.
We are working to correct this in your billing history. We’ll let you know when it’s done. Thanks!

Hi,
We’ve found out that It is not possible to correct this in your billing history without refunding the payment and sharing a new manual payment link. We apologize for the inconvenience!
Would you like to let the redemption of pangawarehouse.com appear as a Creator plan in your billing history?
Or would you like to refund it and purchase it again so it appears as a domain redemption in your billing history?
Let us know, and we’ll be happy to help!
