Recover url of deleted website

    Hi!

    I’m trying to figure out how to work wordpress.com for the first time. I’ve created and deleted several sites with url’s that I’m interested in keeping–is there anyway I could recover access to the url ‘thenewhorizons.wordpress.com’? I had not realized that by deleting the web page I would no longer be able to make a new webpage with that URL.

    Aloha Lily, There are warnings in place in order to try and prevent people from accidently deleting their site. Once a .wordpress.com address is deleted, it cannot be used again by anyone; this also includes the person that deleted the site.

    Maybe there is a domain close to thenewhorizons.wordpress.com that you will be happy with? Until you know for sure what you want to use, you could also set up a test site. I have a test site where I try out different things.
