  Hi! I made this website – https://matthewhearleblog.wordpress.com/ – and I am trying to get it removed. I don’t seem to have the username for that account – can you help me.

  Hey there, we do have to have convincing evidence that the account actually belongs to you. Otherwise, anyone could walk in and take over your site just by saying it’s theirs.

  If it was a free site, your best bet will be regaining access to email.

  – Try commenting on the site, then check all of your emails. The one that gets a notification (assuming you have them on, which is default) is the one you can use to recover access. Be sure to check all addresses you might have used back when you set up the site. You can ask your friends what addresses they have in their contacts, too.

  – If you know what the address was but cannot access that anymore, you may be able to do account recovery with your previous email provider.
