Recovering a blog linked to a non-existant email

  I set up a blog which for some reason is blocked. The e-mail I registered with no longer exists. But I can’t contact WordPress to discuss this. It was set up a long time ago and I don’t have the details they ask for.

  Hi there, was the blog you set up here on WordPress.com, or was it using the WordPress software with a different company?

  If it was here on WordPress.com and you happen to remember the username and password for that account, then you could likely log in and update the email address associated with that account:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

  Unfortunately otherwise if you hadn’t set a “recovery email” and don’t have access to any of the other items detailed in the account recovery guide (here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/ ) then our Happiness Engineers may not be able to restore your access to the site.
