recovering a domain name in redemption

  I have expired domain registered with Network Solutions which is currently in redemption and need help in recovering it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If it is registered with Network Solutions you need to get help from them – we can only help here if the domain name was first registered through WordPress.COM

  If you bought the name through a reseller then you need to work with the reseller

  If it is in redemption, expect to pay a heavy premium on top of the normal registration fee. This can range from $50 to $100 extra in my experience.

  Morning @TSP – yes the sticker shock thing – that is why I have lobbied (without success) to re-enable multi-year Upgrades here so someone can stay a bit ahead of things –

  I have some friends that have 5 & 10 year registrations. I got my domain name when someone registered it for 10 years – did not use it and forgot about it – was my lucky month I guess
