Recovering a saved draft
-
Hi,
I have 2 problems with revisions.
1. I don’t even have the option to tick the revisions box on any page because it isn’t there. It is possible this is because of the Thrive Content Themes editor? If not, I cannot locate an off or on switch for the revisions.
2. I was editing a landing Page with Thrive when I altered a piece of the html code and this broke the page. I had no undo or recovery option in Thrive GUI and there is no Draft record of the page in question (it is now published).
This is a self-hosted WP install. Is there any way the missing data was saved in a db table? Thanks in advance,
Mike

veritasradionetwork.com is hosted by DataBank Holdings, not by wordpress.com.
It is not on our wordpress.COM servers and we cannot help you here at all. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.com/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Sorry about that, I actually do have a wordpress.org login and registration and posting admin privileges at several sites here, but the one in question is privately hosted. I will search for the solution elsewhere, forgive the intrusion.
