    Good afternoon

The above site is the old website for our corporation.

The administrator for the ngurcorp.wordpress site does not work here any longer and has not done for some time.

The account recovery process does not allow me to submit a form given we have none of the three methods of ID required. How do we contact WordPress support direct to provide proof offline?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Unknown

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

First things first: what is the URL of the site you are talking about?

    Hello there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

Are you still able to access the email address of the individual who worked with you? If yes, you could use a password reset here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Unfortunately we no longer have access to the person who set it up over 10 years ago. Any other suggestions?

If you don’t have any of the required recovery methods, there’s really no way for us to know that you really own the account. If you were to produce documentation as proof, for example, it still wouldn’t work unless we had access to that documentation beforehand.

One thing you can try though: if they were using a company email, you may be able to work with your email provider to figure out the address and gain access to it. They can check their delivery logs, etc.

Is there some way to demonstrate ownership of the Corporation offline rather than through a public forum?

I do not believe they were on a company email, as they were a consultant to the company, rather than actual employee.

@amymcardle, the only ways are outlined here:
    https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

You can email passwordhelp@wordpress.com, but generally they’ll have the same rules.

That said, I would encourage you to check with your email provider/admin anyway. Good luck!
