Recovering accidentally deleted my domain

  About a week ago, I accidentally renamed/deleted the old name of my for my wordpress site. I tried to modify it back, but it wouldn’t let me. I then tried to sign up for a standard plan so as to buy that domain again but it seems to have registered it with another name instead.

  Is there any way I can get the original back? These threads seem to show it’s possible:

  Hi there, when you change the site address for an address ending in .wordpress.com, that address cannot be used again and you’ll need to contact us at help@wordpress.com for additional assistance.

  @philnick206, is there any way you could delete the references to my specific .wordpress.com sites (there are 3 references in total)?
