Recovering Account w/o Transaction ID or Activation URL
-
I am trying to recover an account I had back in 2011, whose password I can’t remember, and primary email I no longer have access to. Because I never upgraded to a paid plan, I have no transaction receipts. Further, because I do not have access to the email I used to set up the account, I cannot retrieve an activation URL. Nor do I have a two-factor authentication code. The account recovery form requires at least one of these to even be submitted, and live chat appears to only be available for members on paid plans. How can I contact a “Happiness Engineer” to prove my ownership of this older account?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but our Support staff cannot help you. You must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.
Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access to the site https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Is there any way for me to contact Account Recovery Staff outside of submitting that form? I cannot submit it without information I do not have.

Thanks for your replies timethief. I see this post has bee tagged modlook, so hopefully I can receive some assistance with this issue.
For the benefit of the staff who eventually sees this, I should mention that the forum posting software seems to have automatically added the line “The blog I need help with is sgtise.wordpress.com” to my initial post. However, that blog was simply set up in the process of making this new account, so I could seek help with the old one.
I am simply trying to delete the two blogs associated with the old account I’m trying to access, which are:
anthroblogogy.wordpress.com
plaincorps.wordpress.com -
Hi there,
If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a PayPal transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.

Hi fstat.
I understand that your policies are in place to prevent people from accessing others’ accounts illicitly, but surely I can work with someone to prove that I am the owner of the above-linked blogs with any number of proofs, from identifying records proving that I am the person described on the blog’s “About” page to original drafts of its content. It seems absurd to me that I cannot even speak with anyone responsible for account management without providing proofs which are either exclusive to paying members (Transaction ID) or obviously unavailable to people without access to the email with which they signed up (Activation Key).
In any case, I don’t necessarily need to gain access to the account; I am simply looking to have the sites deleted. Surely you have data on your end indicating they haven’t been active in years?
