recovering administrator account
-
we set up a site https://exergyeconomics.wordpress.com/ about 10 years ago to showcase our research work in our network. Its been working well, we have an admin username, where we made annual updates to show workshops and open access research papers. but then logging in this year, it says the password is not recognised. and we cant reset the password as we dont know where the link goes (I have checked all junk, clutter etc email folders of mine). I can log in with my own uni email address, but it says i dont have admin rights to modify the pages, and need to contact the administrator. so we are stuck and dont know how to recover the administrator account. it was set up 10 years ago and cant find any of the proof of ownership info. as its not a paid plan, i cant connect to a real person, only a chatbot. so am stuck. any ideas welcome, .e.g. any way i can get WP support to help, or do i need to get a paid plan that unlocks real people to help get admin account access back? or othe idea/s thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
