Recovering an account without any proof of ownership
-
Hi. I used to own the page https://flibbertygibberty.wordpress.com/ and I’ve not been active since 2017. However recently I wish to regain access to my page but I am unable to. Firstly, the email address I used to start that page up has been defunct and deleted, and I am not able to recover it any longer. Secondly, I may have proof of upgrading my account through PayPal, however that was back in 2011 and PayPal do not keep records that are more than 7 years old.
I really need help to recover this account and I hope I am able to seek help from anyone. I can also provide the WordPress team with ID verification if required.

Hi there,
If you don’t remember the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ so we can help you regain access.
If you don’t have any of the proofs of ownership we recover there, we won’t be able to give you access. We didn’t ask for a copy of your ID when you created the other account, so we can’t now use that as verification – there’s nothing on our end we could check your ID against to verify your account ownership.
I’m afraid we’re not able to make any exceptions in this regard.
