Recovering my content from an expired domain

  My life endured a total upheaval over the last year, and during that time my domian expired. Is there any way I can recover my content without recovering my domain name. If not, does recovering my domain name mean recovering my content as well?

  we can’t help as that site wasn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. If you didn’t make a proper backup of your site, there is nothing left to recover.
