Recovering My Website

    Hello,

    I previously used WordPress hosting to host my website. This expired around 10 months ago. I’m trying to find a backup for my website as I wish to start hosting again, but cannot find anything.

    I searched online and asked on Reddit – I was advised to ask WordPress support, as you may still have a backup if it was less than a year ago?

    Hi there,

    Backups are purged after a certain amount of time once a Business or Commerce plan expires. A backup is no longer available for the site in question.

    The Wayback Machine does a good job of capturing snapshots of a website if you need to get a feel of what the site previously looked like.
