Recovering Work from a Previous Site
-
I am trying to gain access to my many, many film reviews that I wrote while working for the site listed above. My old boss pulled the site without any warning and I lost 3 years of my work. He is also incredibly unhelpful and has no idea how to do account recovery, cannot find activation codes or authentication from when he created the site around 2016. He really doesn’t grasp the severity of this situation, so I am turning here for a last-gasp effort of getting help. I want to be clear: I do not need access to the site necessarily, but I am hoping beyond hope that someone at WordPress can see the work behind the scenes and somehow send me the articles I wrote or allow me some kind of basic access just so I can export the articles. I do not want anything but my work back, all of which were previously publicly available but are now associated with dead links, and I am absolutely desperate for help. Please.

Hi,
Have you tried Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine? It’s often very helpful, and I’ve personally recovered numerous posts, pages, and images using this tool. I’ve called for staff attention to the topic, so staff will respond here.

Hi there!
I am really sorry to hear about your situation.
I checked your domain http://www.thisisthebronx.info in our server, but couldn’t find any records of this domain being connected to a WordPress.com site.
Moreover, the site’s hosted on WordPress.com can’t have www as their main domain, as it is not supported on WordPress.com. You can learn more here: https://wordpress.com/support/www-versus-non-www-domains/#why-you-cannot-use-www
It doesn’t seem like this site was hosted on WordPress.com.
If you were using self-hosted version of WordPress at another hosting provider, you can try contacting the support of the hosting provider for more information.
