Recovery a very old blog (imposible)
-
Hello,
So, i have this old blog of mine where i spent some years till 2015. I can’t acces it anymore because i don’t remember my pasword. The problem is that my recovery email is my ver old yahoo email. My recovery number is a old number that i am not using it anymore.
Ok, long story short. If i wanna go back to my old yahoo email, they respond me>
“Uh-oh…
This account has been deactivated due to inactivity, but we would love to welcome you back! Click Sign up below to create your new account.”
So i can’t do anything to recover my blog. There are a lot of posts or information about me in that blog. In my contact section on the blog you will see the email adress(this email adress from this user i post here).
You write there 3 steps authentification – none of them i can acces. Url id number etc are in my old email adress.
So i need help. Some years ago i try to recover it but no succes.
If someone can 100% help me with this, i can provide proofs.
So, someone can help me?

Bottom line: if that Yahoo email is fully deactivated, it’s gone for good. That means recovery for the blog is really tricky, because they’ll want to send reset links to that dead email.
Your only real shot is to contact the blog platform directly (like Blogger, WordPress, etc.) and explain the situation, show proof it’s yours (like your name or contact info in the blog itself), and hope they help.
If you just want to save the old posts, try Wayback Machine (web.archive.org) — they might have some snapshots.

i can’t see your email –
I don’t wanna save some posts, i just wanna write again, to come back on my blog. So….yeah….my old email is gone forever. I know my old email and log in credentials(that is proof, right?). I have my email on contact section – this email. And i have more proofs.
I can’t contact them directly because i don’t know how. If i wanna send my recovery to them, they ask me thos 3 points (url-id-2 step log in)

it is [REDACTED]
I understand, thanks for clarifying. It sounds like the biggest issue is that the platform’s recovery system is blocking you because you can’t pass the 3-step process (url, ID, 2-step login). Unfortunately, most platforms rely heavily on automated recovery — meaning if you can’t pass that, they usually don’t offer a direct way to contact a human for help. That said, knowing your old email and login credentials is helpful, but it’s not always enough for them to restore access. Platforms today are super strict on security, especially if the recovery email/phone is gone.

@bomboanabuclucasa the only way to recover a WordPress.com account is by following this support guide. Give them as much information as possible including the full address of your WordPress.com website and your old yahoo email address.
No person posting in the forums with the word Member next to their username is in a position to get account issues resolved for you no matter how good their intentions are.
