Hello,
Earlier this year, I have asked for your help: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/recovery-of-site-ownership/
The problem has been left unsolved. In the meantime, we had people tracing the past site owner abroad and other retired contributors on Facebook, and finally I was told they have no recollection whatsoever about the eucuadmin password. I also contacted the IT team to perhaps re-create the old email adress that no longer exists, but they are not prepared to do that.
This is completely impossible to recover without your help.
– The email address for the site owner does not exist anymore and could be changed to a generic email address we have that would be very good for that. I propose to give that to you if you contact me, so that we can reset the password.
– I have been the Communication officer for this branch for the past 7 months or so and I manage the site (as you can see from the posts): https://exeterucu.wordpress.com/about-the-branch/eucu-committee/

Without the login information of the person who set up the website here on WordPressdotcom, your only option is to try and recover access to the account following the guidelines at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ Give the account recovery team as much information as you possibly can on that form including the old email address associated with the account even if it no longer exists.

Thank-you. I just want to let you know that I have submitted a form as you suggest, but this requires proper validating information, which makes it difficult for the form to properly submitted. Hopefully you can see this.
