Recreate old, deleted domain name

  Hey guys.

  I messed up my domain, and this is 100% my own fault. I’m just looking for some way to get around it.

  Some days, I created a blog. I realised that there was a spelling mistake (turns out there wasn’t), so I deleted it. Then I went ahead and created a new one, but I didn’t notice that the form had added ‘blog’ to my address, so now, for instance, instead of yadayada.wordpress.com, the address is now yadayadablog.wordpress.com.
  This is no good, since all my preparations have their roots in my original domain name.
  However, even though the original site was deleted, it cannot create a blog with that name.

  Is there someway to recreate the old yadayada.wordpress.com domain, or do I have to do all my preparations all over?

  @notwilliamhansen – Once deleted, gone forever. This is repeated a number of times during the deletion process, including in the email confirmation of the site deletion.

  Contrary to the above information given you, it is not possible to recreate or change a blog address for a deleted site. See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
