Recurring calendar event is still visible in events widget despite being deleted
-
I have a public calendar:
https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=q87l2i2btj7kfnc6qj9oqvo9eg%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/Los_Angelesand I am using the iCal link:
https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/q87l2i2btj7kfnc6qj9oqvo9eg%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.icsto populate the events widget on the homepage of my website: sfgoclub.com
The recurring event scheduled for this Sunday, 11/9 was deleted for only that day. The recurring event persists for the rest of the calendar year. However, the event on that day is still visible in the widget, even though it isn’t visible in the original calendar.
Can you please fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The widget only displays information which is pushed to it from external sources. If changes are made which do not reflect on the widget, the only thing which we can recommend you do is that you grab a new link from your Google Calendar, remove the widget from your sidebar, and then re-add it. This usually fixes the issue.

Hello,
Thanks for looking at my issue.
I have already tried grabbing a new link, and deleting and adding the Calendar widget again. I tried again now. It doesn’t solve the issue.
My guess is that the widget is treating recurring events differently from ordinary events.
Thanks
