recurring comments
-
today, i checked to see if there were new comments, and, to my surprise, there were over 200. to say that is unusual would be the understatement of the year. as it turned out, almost all of them were from someone named Pochettino. that person linked to a site called bizcovering. all the comments were from the same email address. i left most of the comments in the spam filter in case the support people need to see them. is there any way to permanently block someone from commenting? any help is appreciated. here are the offending comments:

thank you, raincoaster! i didn’t even know that there was that option. thanks, too, for answering so quickly.

Blocking comments is described in detail here:
In this case they were already detected as spam so you can simply click the ‘Delete All’ button on your Akismet Spam page (after checking for real comments misidentified as spam of course).

thanks, tellyworth,
thanks for the link. i already followed raincoaster’s advice, and i hope that fixed the problem. it’s good to know how to do that if there is a need in the future.
the comments were not detected as spam. i had to go through the comments and mark them as spam.
