Recurring events are not displaying in the Upcoming Events widget.

  Recurring events are not displaying in the Upcoming Events widget despite recreating them as per the guidelines on http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/upcoming-events/ which say:
  Are recurring events supported? Yes, however, some calendar programs may not save the data in a format our parser can understand. In most cases, problems happen to data imported from an outside sources and so completely deleting and re-creating the recurring event using a major service such as Google Calendar or Apple Calendar on iCloud should resolve the problem.

  The calendar in question is:

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry for the trouble with your recurring events. Could you please give me an example of one of the recurring events that isn’t showing up, along with the details of how you set up that event in your calendar (e.g. the first date you added the recurring event and how often it is set to recur)? That will help us investigate the issue for you.

  Hi,

  Thanks for your quick response. The event I set up was created after the current date (Yesterday) and was set as follows:

  Date: Friday May 23rd
  Begin time: 6:30pm
  End time: 9:30pm
  Repeats: Fourth friday of every month

  Hi Mish,

  Thanks for sending along those details! Our team is investigating a bug with monthly recurring events, where they don’t appear correctly. We haven’t been able to resolve it yet, but I passed along your report so our developers can continue looking into it.

  In the meantime, a workaround would be to add that event as an individual event each month instead of a recurring event. That will make sure the event shows up in your Upcoming Events widget for now, while our developers investigate this bug.
