    Many users complain about the fee charged by Michael Torbert for his All In One SEO plugin because Torbert charges an annual fee through paypal when the plugin is purchased and sets the fee up through paypal as a “recurring” fee. Even though the plugin might be subsequently deleted, Torbert charges the fee every year, without confirming with the user that the plugin license is still active. This is fraud by Torbert and WordPress has some liability here.

    The plugin you refer to is for the open source WordPress software created and maintained by the community on WordPress.org. WordPress.com is a hosting platform that uses that software, and we have no control at all over what plugin authors for the open source software does.

    If you have concerns with how they manage that plugin I suggest you take it up with them directly on the forums for that plugin listed here:

    If you believe their payment practices are fraudulent, report them directly to PayPal.
