Recycle website address
-
I would like to start a website-blog with the url caminodesantiago.wordpress.com, but I cannot register this address, since I get the error message that the website already exists with suggestions for alternative names. If I enter the url caminodesantiago.wordpress.com in the address bar of the browser, the page displays a message “caminodesantiago.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.” I believe that if this site once existed and has been deleted by its authors, the web address should become available again. In the case of this web address the situation has been the same for at least half a year. Is there a way, I could start to use this web address?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What you believe and the policy here at WordPress.COM are in conflict.
Blog deletion is a permanent and irreversible act just as the repeated warnings state when one attempts to delete a blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
