Redeeming a domain in the redemption period

My domain does not offer the option to redeem it myself. How do I contact support for help redeeming the domain?

Domain names are available with personal or premium plans. Are you on one of those plans?

This happened last year as well, I need to do this:
“If your domain does not offer the option to redeem it yourself it will be removed from your account when it enters the Redemption Period. In that case, please contact support for help redeeming the domain, and we will send you a link to make the required payment so we can recover the domain.”

This sounds like you should contact support. I’ve used the modlook tag on this post which may help forum staff see this and respond.
There have a been a couple other similar threads I read today talking about this issue.

Hi there,
I’ve sent you a link via email you can use to pay the redemption fee. Once we receive your payment we can email our domain provider to restore the domain.
This happened last year as well
Did you receive our email reminders that the domain is expiring? The first one went out in February, 90 days before expiration, and in the week right before and right after the expiration you should also have received emails directly form our domain provider. If you did not receive those, please make sure the email address on your WordPress.com account is correct, and also the domain admin contact email once the domain is restored.
Once the domain is restored, please consider activating automatic renewal. Then we will attempt to renew the domain a month before it expires to prevent something like this from happening again.

Please tag all threads regarding expired domains for staff – telling someone they need a plan will not help them, and is also not true – someone who already owned a domain before we switched to plans do not need a plan in order to keep using that existing domain upgrade.
