redeeming domain

  Dear Sir/ Madam,

  I am keen to redeem my domain http://www.virginiamacgregor.com. I recently switched web designers and my previous designers failed to tell me that my site was about the expire. I read on your information pages that you could send me a link to make the payment to redeem this site. If you could send this to (email visible only to moderators and staff), that would be hugely helpful. Many thanks, Virginia

  Hi there,

  Your domain, virginiamacgregor.com, is indeed in redemption with our registrar. They charge a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption.

  However, we can only send the payment link to the email address on file for your WordPress.com account, which is not the same as the address you provided above. Can you please update the email address at https://wordpress.com/me/account/ to the one you wish to use and confirm here, then we can get the process started for you.

  By the way, I notice we had to help you with this last year as well. Once the domain is restored, please consider enabling automatic renewal so that you don’t find yourself in the same situation again next year :)
