Redemption

So my domain fell into a redemption period and I need it back. WordPress is not user friendly and I would like to call customer support but this is all you have. Please tell me how to get my domain out of the abyss. it is http://www.carlythaw.com

If your domain is now in the redemption period note that the registrar charges a $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 WordPress.com charges to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

You have two options if your domain is now in the redemption period :
You can renew your domain WordPress.com. The registrar charges a $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 WordPress.com charges to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.
Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

I can confirm that carlythaw.com is in redemption. In order to recover this domain, our partner is going to charge an $80 redemption fee.
Please confirm that you agree to that fee and I can proceed with the process. Typically, this only takes 2-3 days from start to finish.

Typically the domain continues to work as it did before expiring. Let’s wait and see once it is restored and go from there :)
