Redemption period

  Hi,
  I’d like to start again a e-commerce project but unfortunatly the domain I took (atelier-antoinette.com) is now in redemption period and I can’t affort to pay the price to exit the domain from the redemption period.
  Before I choose another domain I’d like to know how long is this redemption period ?

  I see “modlook” has been added to this thread but whilst you are waiting for a reply from staff I’ll remind you about this link:

  There it says that roughly 3 to 4 months need to elapse before a domain is released. But there is always the possibility that it could be purchased by others. Some people have gambled and successfully re-acquired their domains after waiting patiently but there are no guarantees.

  @atelierantoinette it’s usually about 80 days. The domain goes up for auction at some point & that’s when it can get lost if it’s a name someone else wants that badly. Let us know what you’d like to do.
