I’m sorry to hear about the mix-up. How long has your domain been expired? This is important because once a domain expires, it goes through a series of steps that make it increasingly difficult (and more expensive) to renew.

If it’s only two weeks, it’s possible that you can get it back. However, it’s possible you have to pay $80 redemption fee. Are you ok with it?
While waiting for an answer from staffs, please kindly clarify the domain you want to get back. It helps them to assist you.

Ok, so you know that it’s entered into the very ambiguous “redemption period”. In that case, a staff will certainly be able to help you with your issue. I really hope it works out too!

Hi thepostloveseat,
plantedinlove.com expired on 2017-05-15 and is currently in the redemption period.
As hacchism mentioned, we can still try to recover the domain but you will need to pay an $80 redemption fee in addition to the regular domain renewal costs ($26). Can you confirm you would like to go ahead and pay both of these costs?
If you do not want to pay the redemption fee, you can wait until the domain is released but this is the riskier option because there is no guarantee you will be the first to register it again.
Please let me know which option you would prefer.
