redesign and problems connecting blogs I follow
-
First you redesign my dashboard, which I was comfortable with and now I have trouble accessing the blogs I follow whats up?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Could you please explain your issue in more detail? What trouble do you exactly have when accessing the blogs you follow?
Looking forward to your reply.

When I click on the large W on the bar at the top left it goes to all the blogs I am following. Two days ago it did nothing but show a small clock like image going in a circle. Previously when I did get this page to load and I tried to access different blogs from the ‘explore’ section they would not load. (Yes I know one answer may be that I live in a remote area and the satellite might be the problem) On the second point WordPress has redesigned my ‘dashboard’ page any idea why it was changed?

I’m sorry you’re encountering that problem. Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

We’ve made some improvements on the dashboard. However, you can still enable the ‘Your Stuff’ box on your dashboard at https://kl1hbalaska.wordpress.com/wp-admin/#screen-options-wrap

Thanks I will clear the cookies, but I am now at my sons home in Texas with a high speed line, different computer and the loading of blogs I follow is gone. One last question (since it is great to have someone respond so quickly) on the ‘blogs I follow’ page. When you click on one to view it now you have a small screen come up instead of the full page…and this I can live with but when you are done reading the page and click to exit, the screen does not go back to where you were on the page, it goes to the top of the page. I am sure many must think this is annoying because if you are well down the page you have to scroll down to find the spot where you stopped. In any event thanks for your help..pete

Since the ‘blogs I follow’ page is working fine on a different connection I assume the issue has something to do with your own Internet connection. Satellite connections (eg through Hughes) handle traffic differently and also they do lots of caching. This may result in connectivity or refreshing issues.
Thanks for the report about that reader issue. We’ve registered your suggestion and will keep it in mind for future features and updates.
ps: lovely blog you have there!
