Redesign my website

  Hi! I have a free plan in WordPress and I want to redesign my website, including the theme. However, since I’m afraid to lose content or important information, I would like to test some things before putting them in the real website and I don’t know the best way to do it! I red on the internet some people create a sub domain but I don’t know how to do that because I have the free plan… is there any advice you have for me?

  Hi there!

  You won’t be able to create a subdomain here, on WordPress.com.
  Changing the theme will not delete any content though. The newer themes may replace your homepage, but you can still go back to the one you were using previously.

  You can also try the older themes without activating them by clicking on the three dots next to the theme’s name and choosing the option Try&Customize.

  

  This will allow you to see how the theme would look like with your content and how could you customize it.
