Ok I see what your trying to do I don’t think you can rename a tab on a theme though. :(

@phhskc: The code you pasted above is cirrect. But you’re using the Digg 3 theme, which is flawed in that respect: your new page tab is lower than the others and it’s getting hidden by the image header. If you refresh your page, you’ll see it for a moment before the header image launches.
If you don’t want to switch to another theme, forget the page trick and add this link in a text widget.

The problem seems to be that there are two tabs there with the same name and one is overlapping the other. Here’s one page http://phhskc.wordpress.com/events-calendar/ – this one needs to be deleted. And the other is the lower tabbed page that panaghiotisadam refers to.

No, Vivian, that’s exactly the bug with Digg 3 when you do the trick: the page you publish results in these double overlapping page tabs.
By the way, Digg 3 is flawed in general re. page tabs, not just with this “special” tab: once your page tabs get past what can fit in a single row, the second row is covered by the header image. (About a month ago I sent a note to Support re. this, they thanked me and said they’d tell the designer; apparently the designer didn’t hear them yet.)
