  when i redirect my old web site to my new WP site I get “Oops! That page can’t be found”, can I change that so it just goes to my new WP web site’s home page without the oops page
  .

  What are both of the URLs involved please?
  Are you referring to a site redirect upgrade?

  I think it was an upgrade.
  My old site is:
  http://www.evergladesangler.com,
  my new WP site is:
  http://naplesfishingcharters.org
  This is what comes up when I click http://www.EvergladesAngler.com in google is: http://naplesfishingcharters.org/portal/
