Redirect a '.com' site for a 'wordpress.com' site different wordpress users
-
Hi.
I’ve bought a ‘.com’ domain with a different user than the one I want to use this ‘.com’ domain. How can I transfer this ‘.com’ to the correct wordpress user?
Thank youThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Not sure if that was very clear, let’s try again. I’ve bought “estudiodaalma.com” domain, with a different wordpress user and what happens is that this adress is pointing to that user’s primary site (it’s a wordpress site as well).
What I would like to do is to point this domain, “”estudiodaalma.com” to “estudiodaalma.wordpress.com”. How can I do this?
Thank you so much for your help.

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and their associated email address and purchased any upgrades for it.
The blog’s owner must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them, or to transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account, or to use the lost password link, or the account recovery form, or to delete site content, or to delete the site itself.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
If the log-in information is lost you need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

I have 2 users: “rubiterapias” and “estudiodaalma”.
I bought domain “www.estudiodaalma.com” using rubiterapias user.
As result, when we type “www.estudiodaalma.com” it is opening “www.rubiterapias.com”.
What I wanted is that when we type “www.estudiodaalma.com” it should be showing estudiodaalma.wordpress.com.Thank you so much for your help.

Thank you for all the information you’ve wrote about.
However, is not a case of transfering a blog, because there are two users with two different sites.
What I did worng was buying a domain with the wrong user.
Is that a way to change or to redirect to the correct user estudiodaalma domain “www.estudiodaalma.com” to “estudiodaalma.wordpress.com” – maintaining the “www.rubiterapias.com” as it is with rubiterapias user?Thank you very much

Hi @estudiodaalma, since you own both users, here’s the fastest fix:
– Add user rubiterapias to http://estudiodaalma.wordpress.com/ as an admin:
wordpress.com/people– Login as user rubiterapias
– Ask us here (or in chat at http://wordpress.com/help/contact ) to reassign this to the proper site
After all of that is working, you can go through the process to transfer the domain to the correct user. Since that may take a while, it’s best to do the other parts first.

This is done. The domain was under the correct user already, and I’ve moved it to the right site. Go ahead and restart your browser, and you should be set. Cheers!
