Redirect a page to a facebook page

  When visitors click on the page called ‘Blog’ on https://bridalmakeupbylouise.wordpress.com/, ideally I’d like this to redirect them to my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Make-Up-by-Louise/927028990642526

  Is this possible on the wordpress.com platform?

  Hi there. You can do this, yes. You’ll need to set up a custom menu and use it to add a custom link to your Facebook page under whatever label you want. Instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  Right. I’ve created a custom menu and added the facebook link in the link text box but when I click on the page ‘blog’ it doesn’t redirect me to facebook? What am I missing?

  It looks like you created a social links menu. You’ll see it at the bottom of your blog. That’s a secondary custom menu your theme uses specifically for social media links.

  To have a link to Facebook in your top menu you need to add a custom link to your main menu. First, delete the blank page titled “Blog” as you don’t need that for what you want to do. Then, go to Appearance ->Menus.

  You should see your custom menu there containing, based on what I see on your site, only the Facebook link. Click the link at the top to create a new menu again. Name it Main Menu or Top Menu to avoid confusion.

  To this new menu, add ALL the pages that you want to appear on the top menu, along with a custom link to your Facebook page. At the bottom where it says Theme Locations, make sure this new menu is selected as your Primary Menu. Then save.

  If you want to add other social media links (like Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) to the social links menu at the bottom, select that menu from the drop-down that should now appear at the top of the menus page, and add other services using custom links, as explained here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/

  Or, if you don’t want the social links menu at the bottom, just add your pages to the existing custom menu and then make sure it’s set as your primary menu before you save.
