Redirect Blog Help

  I’ve recently purchased a domain through another host and am now self hosted. I’ve exported a zip file of my blog and imported it to the new site. I would like to redirect my “old” blog (sweetestsunrise.wordpress.com) to my “new” site.

  Do i use the Domain mapping feature for this? I am not sure if the domain mapping upgrade is just for people that have purchased a domain and will be hosting through wordpress.org instead of .com

  I don’t want to use the upgrade if it will not redirect my old traffic to my own self hosted site.

  I’d appreciate any help with this.
