redirect domain name from domain.com

  I am having trouble seeing how to direct my domain name from Hostgator.com to my wordpress.com site.
  Domain name: surfersforchrist.org
  Wordpress site: notesfromabundantlife.wordpress.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You have two options for that:

  Mapping allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
