Redirect domain to godaddy

    I’ve tried it all.

    Tried to transfer domain . Was denied by wordpress b/c they allege I changed contact info and they can lock the domain for 60 days.

    Tried to change name servers. Didn’t work. Was told to wait for propagation. Waited days and days. Never changes.

    Tried adding an A record with IP of godaddy site. Still nothing.

    To compound the problem, there are TWO(2), yes TWO areas on my wordpress site where I can manage my DNS and domain. Yes, two. One is a light version that looks nothing like any of the documentation in WP help. The other is a more robust version of DNS & domain management that you can find by navigating through your account. This interface matches documentation you find in WP support.

    But…..get this. Make a change in one DNS area, and it doesn’t show in the other. Which area of WP controls your domain? Who knows?
