Redirect existing website to our new wordpress account
-
We hired AgniTek to build a full e-commerce website for us using WordPress and WooCommerce, and we paid them $4000.00. When they turned it over to us, it was incomplete far behind on updates from WordPress and WooCommerce. They built it on their own WordPress and WooCommerce accounts, and they gave us logins they said would work for those accounts, but they don’t work. We can work within the existing site, but we cannot update it, or update plugins, or expand it, or add any new features from WordPress and WooCommerce. Their basic response was ‘tough,’ and they abandoned us. We ceased doing business with AgniTek and downloaded the site they had created in full. We contracted with Host Gator as our new ISP, and created new WordPress and WooCommerce accounts through them. The problem they have is that if they migrate the site for us, it will still only access AgniTek’s WordPress and WooCommerce accounts. We need to find a way to enter the site database and redirect it to work with our WordPress and WooCommerce accounts so that we may update and expand it and use it on Host Gator.
