redirect from old site goes to oops page
-
Hi, I redirected my old web site (www.EvergladesAngler.com) to my new WP blog site (www.NaplesFishingCharters.org), but when it redirects it goes to this page “http://naplesfishingcharters.org/portal/”, this page says “Oops! That page can’t be found”, can I change that so it just goes to my new WP blog site’s home page instead of the “oops page”? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://naplesfishingcharters.org/ goes to the home page for me – no oops page
also asking the same question three times will not change the answer

for me I get an oops page: http://naplesfishingcharters.org/portal/
so you don’t for above url?
Ive checked with friends and they get the oops page
Thanks -
Why is there a portal page at all?
What useful purpose does it serve?
Delete it and resolve your issue. -
Note: The display you see at that URL is the 404 (page not found) error message that will appear any time anyone types in the URL for a post or page that has been deleted or simply does not exist.

Clean up the old bookmarks of your friends – tell them to delete the old URL and go to the opening page I noted above or you can make a useless Page called Portal and make it the landing page –

Hi there,
Your domain evergladesangler.com is correctly mapped to your blog at naplesfishingcharters.org. When someone visits your site at http://www.evergladesangler.com/ they will be redirected to http://naplesfishingcharters.org/ . I checked, and this worked for me — I wasn’t redirected to the page http://naplesfishingcharters.org/portal/ . Are you still having trouble with this?
