  Hi I was Following the instructions here https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/ and saw this note: Note: Site redirects will only point to a non-ssl (http: //) url.

  So redirect to a website with SSL does not work?

  No, you need to point it to a http URL. If your http URL will redirect traffic to a https version, then you should be fine. But if you require pointing directly to the https version, I’m afraid that won’t work.
