Redirect from wordpress.com to .org not working
-
I recently moved from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and bought the automatic redirect from the wordpress.com store. However, none of the links for individual pages are working, instead all leading to a 404-error page.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? I’ve tried googling etc, but I can’t seem to find any info on it.

Okay, an update: I think I found the problem and that is that my old blog created URLs in the format date/post title, while the new website uses just the post title.
I would really like to go for just the post title in the future. Is there any way I can still keep my search engine stats?

Of course you can, but you may need the utilization of 301 redirection to redirect everything including the traffic from your old pages to your new pages. Here, I highly recommend you to have a look at https://wpmatter.com/redirect-wordpress-page/, from which you can know how to achieve this by using Quick Page / Post Redirect Plugin. The plugin information address is http://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/.
