redirect from WP to another host

    I purchased a domain through WP that I want redirected to another domain purchased and hosted with Go Daddy. To change the name servers which option do I want? I have a hosting account with these domains or I have specific nameservers for my domains? Next I add the name server for the GD site to the WP site. Correct? I did this once but am not sure if it worked. I am getting a “this page parked free” page from Automattic but I don’t know if it has just not been enough time. Please help
