Redirect is not working

    Redirect from wrightingwords.wordpress.com to wrightingwords.com is not working. I paid for this in August, but I am still getting notices that people are following the old site and signing up for the mailing list at the old site. If they are redirected, they shouldn’t be able to visit the site at all. Please tell me how this can be fixed. Do I have to buy a redirect for each page of my old site that I want redirected to the new one?

    I just checked the link in above query and it took me to my old site and did not redirect me to the new one.
