redirect link to tradetracker
-
Hi,
Some links on my blog are redirect automatically to tradetracker.com
( http://tromsoskyrace.com/accommodation/ )
Do you know how to fixe-it?
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi kilianjornet,
I visited http://tromsoskyrace.com/accommodation/ and did not experience anything unusual (all links seemed to reach their intended destinations). Have you tried using another browser to reproduce your issue?
-
Hi Daschultemn,
actually when I’m log in on wordpress the links work well, but log off or for people without a wordpress account it don’t. -
Interesting. Fired up Chrome (not logged into WordPress.com) and checked things out again. You’re exactly right. It’s getting hijacked for some reason…

In viewing the source of one of your links, I see this:
<a href="https://www.nordicchoicehotels.com/clarion/clarion-hotel-the-edge/">https://www.nordicchoicehotels.com/clarion/clarion-hotel-the-edge/</a>When I click on that link and then quickly stop the transition, the source link changes to this:
<a href="https://www.nordicchoicehotels.com/clarion/clarion-hotel-the-edge/" data-skimlinks-orig-link="">https://www.nordicchoicehotels.com/clarion/clarion-hotel-the-edge/</a>Odd behavior.

Try creating a brand new link with the Text Editor to see if the problem shows up again. Use:
<a href="https://www.nordicchoicehotels.com/clarion/clarion-hotel-the-edge/">Hotel The Edge</a> -
Hi there,
WordPress.com sometimes runs advertisements, including Skimlinks, on blogs hosted at WordPress.com. In that case, visitors may be directed through Skimlinks before reaching the link’s final destination. If you prefer, you can remove all advertising by upgrading to our Premium plan.

The issue was that upon clicking on the link, the viewer never arrived at their destination. I experienced it for a while and now when I test again, the links take me correctly to their target. It must have been a temporary glitch with Skimlinks.
-
Ah, that’s strange! I didn’t see that issue on the site so I agree it was likely a temporary glitch. I’d be happy to take another look if that issue comes back.

Hi, Thanks all, it was some skimklinks, I changed the links to others (.no in stead .com) and it works well!!
Thanks!!!
