Redirect Loop error

  • Unknown's avatar

I am getting a “redirect loop” error. I checked at my host site – godaddy.com – they said it is at WordPress.com. Basically, I get this when I attempt to go to the site thinkresults.wordpress.com through my forwarding domain thinkresults.com. I get this when I go direct to thinkresults.wordpress.com as well.

    Hi there,

You’re getting the redirect loop error because your domain is not yet pointed at WordPress.com’s nameservers.

You will need to log in to your account at GoDaddy.com and change your nameservers to:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

And within 1 to 48 hours, you site will resolve correctly!

P.S. In the mean time, I’ve updated your primary domain back to thinkresults.wordpress.com so you can access your site. In a few hours, you can change this back by logging in to your account’s Dashboard and then going to the Store link, and then Domains. Put the selector next to thinkresults.com and click the Update button!

Thank you amightywp! That’s a little embarrassing – apparently my nameservers reset after my last domain auto-renewal.

Hey, it happens! Not to worry.

I hope you have a great weekend!
