redirect loops/nameservers changes
-
I am trying to update my nameservers after mapping a domain that I previously owned to my site. Unfortuanately when I go into domains, and try to edit the domain, the Namesservers option does not appear. I only see “edit DNS” and “email”. Please help! here is the site: barbaraellmannsite.wordpress.com and I mapped http://www.barbaraellmann.com to it. I want the shorter domain to be the primary. When I do that it says it has too many direct loops when I try on Chrome or Safari. When I have the WordPress as the primary it works on Chrome but I still get a redirect error message on Safari.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It looks like the domain barbaraellmann.com is registered elsewhere, not at WordPress.com. To manage the name servers on your domain, you’ll need to login to the registrar where you purchased the domain originally, not at WordPress.com.
In order for the domain to work correctly, you’ll need to update the name servers to point to WordPress.com as explained here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#how-to-change-your-name-servers
Can you give that a try?

Jeremy,
Thanks. I went through with those steps and it now works on Chrome but not Safari. Still getting the same message.
Any ideas?
