Redirect Malicious Bloggers?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hey Everyone!
Is there a way to redirect a malicious blog from incessantly linking to mine? Like redirect them to google search or something?

You cannot prevent people from linking to you any more than you can prevent them from pointing at you in the street. You CAN delete their trackbacks, though, so nobody but you and their loyal readers (if any) ever knows it happened.

I’ve seen bloggers do it, so there IS A WAY. I was just hoping someone would be able to tell me how. I’ll just have to search the web to figure it out. IF wordpress support is unwilling to listen to my pleas over harassment, then I’ll have to go to those bloggers, who’ve been harassed; to see how they did it. Cuz they have. I’ve seen it in action where one is redirected to google. Thanks for your time.

Do you have a link to the blog which is allegedly harassing you? Just curious.

Um yeah, You actually responded 3 months ago when I talked about this stuff, and wordpress has done nothing about it. I’m hesitant to leave the link to the blog, because the last time I did that, they picked it up in their stats and used my entry under forums as more harassment against me. But if you go to my profile you’ll see that 3 months ago, I wrote about all of this, and left a link to the blog.

I just want to caution you about going there. This person is CRAZY. They author dozens of blogs on multiple platforms, under numerous names, all targeting me! And I don’t even know who the hell they are. So be careful.

You sent 6 emails in the last 9 hours.
I will reply to one of them.

Multiple emails to Support or Spam/mature reports does not get a faster answer. Really it doesn’t.

You also did not email direct, but you replied to an old reply of mine.

This is absolutely the slowest way to get any help at all.
I look at new tickets first and then probably move to other tasks before looking at replies.

So to anyone – if you do not want a quick reply, send an old one in.

Mark. I’ve been sending you emails for 3 months!!!! I thought that maybe 6 in 9 hours might make you realize that this is ACTUALLY VERY OVERWHELMING FOR ME

  • Unknown's avatar

Mark, I’ve been doing requests the proper way for 3 MONTHS!!!!!! Since your support is only open limited hours, I relied on old emails. But the truth is THAT DOING IT THE PROPER WAY, nothing has been done either

    Peace

Thanks for everyone’s input, I”m gonna close this up. I’ve given up on WordPress caring about bloggers being harassed, and honestly this thread was not about that. It was about redirecting people away from my blog. Seemed like a reasonable question, but somehow the thread took another direction. Thanks for your time.

    Peace
