Redirect my website to another name

  I want to forward my current wordpress site to another name.

  My current site is http://www.scottlara1961.wordpress.com.

  I want to redirect to http://www.scottlara1961.com

  Howdy!

  It looks like you’ve already started that process, purchasing the Domain Mapping upgrade. You’ve got two steps left to go. The full guide can be found here:

  Your next step is change the name servers for your domain. According to this public search your domain is registered with GoDaddy but the name servers still point to the GoDaddy defaults, not WordPress.

  Visit this link and click on “Setting Custom Nameservers for a Domain Name Registered with Us” for instructions:

  help.godaddy.com/article/664

  Following those instructions, change the name servers to these three items:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Once that is done, come back here to WordPress.com and choose scottlara1961.com as your primary domain:

  https://wordpress.com/my-domains/
